Need local candidates only* *Experience Level: * Combination of education and work experience typically equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years technical project management experience. *Description: * * Directs and monitors all activities for large, high risk, major technology-based projects from initiation to delivery. * Projects cross platforms, applications, and/or business lines. * Works with business partners to develop technology concepts, requirements, design alternatives, project schedules, and costs for new systems initiatives. * Plans and directs complex program schedules and budget, monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. * Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management and resolution, communication with business lines and technology management, often at senior management levels. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency. * May serve as a lead by providing direction to less experienced technical project management staff while serving in a project leadership role. * Typically reports to a Technology Manager. *Required Skills* * 7+ years technical project management experience of internet technology projects with recent experience in data migration and/or conversion projects related to merger or acquisitions * Demonstrated expertise in SDLC * At least 2 year experience with Agile or RUP * At least 2 year experience managing J2EE with Oracle PL/SQL application development projects * Demonstrated experience in project risk management, issue or defect management, escalation management with proper and timely communication and ensures that milestones are achieved on-time, on-budget and in scope * At least 2 year experience with Clearquest for defect management and reporting * Advanced technical reporting and presentation skills using MS Office software suite * Ability to work well with both business and technical partners * Familiarity with managing multiple projects with emphasis in money movement like Bill Pay or Billing * Familiarity with J2EE, WebLogic Application Server, Oracle, struts, axis, spring, SOA, MQ, NDM, Autosys, ant, unix shell scripting * Lead daily scrums for multiple projects * Update project plan (MS project and/or XPlanner) * Project risk management with attention to defect tracking, resource availability, environment availability * Oral and written communication e.g. daily status reporting * Strong English communication skills *Preferred Skills* * Wiki publishing experience * Familiarity with Xplanner * Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) * BS in Computer Science or business administration or comparable job experience in related IT positions *Platform and Skill Set Expertise: * Documentation Tools : Visio, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint Web Development : UNIX, SQL, EJB / J2EE, Microsoft Productivity Software : MS Access, MS Project, MS Office, MS PowerPoint Thank you, Gulshan Nirmal Ph: (877)223-7153 x 558 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ORACLE DWH DBA" group.
