*Job Title: Test Engineer with SOLID Rational Performance Tester Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 5 MONTH CONTRACT* Responsibilities: *Plan, Create and maintain and review single user GUI automation. *Plan, Create and maintain and review Performance and Load Tests. *Administration of Automated Test Framework. *Analyze output generated from automated tests (including Performance and Load Testing). *Monitor testing tools’ backend systems performance metrics to ensure optimization. *Oversee the implementation of testing products by junior testing engineers for use by testing team. *Evaluate and qualify testing products on leading-edge technology components. *Provide technical support to help resolve testing customers' product-related problems/issues. *Serve as a technical expert resolving critical and complex issues. *Provide technical direction and expertise to testing groups and/or departments. *Apply knowledge by providing significant contributions across multiple testing projects and by acting in a leadership/mentoring capacity. *Find solutions and initiate testing changes proactively in a proactive manner. *Organize testing projects and guide the direction of multiple-person projects. *Act as a technical leader within the team and serve as an SME and mentor. *Apply knowledge to multiple areas of the products and functional teams. *Produce strategies to address product and/or process requirements. *Assemble, motivate, and mentor effective teams. *Facilitate cooperative work among teams. *Take proactive leadership in guiding the direction of the organization and in making improvements in the organization. *Influence technical strategy, goals, and practices for the department. *Ensure product adherence to Enterprise product adoption standards. *Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. *Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. *Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. *6 years of testing and/or programming experience. *3 years in software development using any of the following technologies: Java; VB Script. *Experience in a leadership role of an Engineering group, development group or project team with sound decision-making skills. *Experience utilizing the following Load and Performance Test or Test Methodology Tools: IBM Rational Performance Tester; *Strong knowledge of MS Windows and UNIX. *Database testing knowledge, especially Microsoft SQLServer and ORACLE Thanks & Regards, Abdul Nadeem Voice: 201-257-5081 x 265 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ORACLE DWH DBA" group.
