*Job Title: Oracle Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 Months Contract* Minimum Requirement: The primary role is development to enhance and expand upon business-critical, custom-built, real time PL/SQL ETL processes. The candidate will be working closely with 2 other Oracle architects and developers on a variety of capital projects. Requirements: *Deep understanding of Oracle architecture (thru 10g/11g), process and memory internals, specifically on UNIX systems *Fluency and expertise in constructing SQL queries for a variety of data analysis problems *Fluent in PL/SQL and shell scripting *Extensive experience using Oracle 10g/11g and UNIX utilities to troubleshoot performance problems *Thorough knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms, their implementation and their strengths/weaknesses *Experience with real time data processing solutions *Understanding of how database data and logic communicate with middle-ware and front-end solutions as part of an n-tier application.
