Please share the requirement with your consultants.*** Location: - Irving TX Duration: 6 Months Role: Sr. MicroStrategy Developer Candidates will be responsible for design, develop and implement MicroStrategy Reports and Dashboards utilizing MicroStrategy version 9.x. This role will also provide input into architecture decisions around data structures and performance concerns. This role will need to maintain a strong relationship with business owners and will need to be able to translate technical concepts into terms a business partner can understand. Required Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Master's degree preferred * 5+ years of MSTR Development and progressive experience * Developed and maintained reporting solutions for large applications * Managed release and deployment of data solutions for large applications * Hands-on development with MicroStrategy version 9 is required & exposure to databases and ability to analyze and understand schema design * Experience \Exposure to MSTR Administration Enterprise Manager, MSTR SDK framework and Web customizations * Hands on performance tuning experience including configuring VLDB settings * Full lifecycle project experience in developing BI solutions, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation * Strong understanding of data modeling (especially dimensional modeling and Star/Snowflake Schema models) * MicroStrategy Intelligence Server and Web administration * Experience with MicroStrategy Narrowcast Server * Experience with MicroStrategy SDK Responsibilities: * Architect the MicroStrategy and EDW components * Participate in the design, build, release and deployment procedures * Develop and maintain the database solutions for the release and deployment between enterprise environments * Ownership of projects and responsible for deliverables * Provide technical leadership and development for MicroStrategy Suite of Tools * Maintain ongoing functionality of MicroStrategy software and hardware environments * Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation * Coordinate and perform data quality validation on new and existing reports * Participate in requirements gathering and design for ongoing development projects * Maintain a strong working relationship with business partners * Supported development and quality assurance teams on data/database/meta-data issues. Skillsets: * Ability to provide both logical and physical data modeling * Ability to use most common SQL Server services * Expertise in T/PL/SQL and database scripting Superior knowledge of data warehousing * Provide technical leadership Data Mapping * Proficient with BI & ETL tool development and implementation processes * Proficient in Database Architectures and data mappings. * Ability to guide clients in aspects of MicroStrategy schema work, security setup, MicroStrategy upgrade planning, MicroStrategy server administration, report building, advanced metric creations, and dashboard development. * Strong dedication to quality customer service and a working knowledge of service support and delivery procedures * Demonstrate a willingness, interest, and aptitude to learn new technologies * Strong problem solving/analytical skills * Report and Dashboard development in MicroStrategy with exposure to version 9. * Ability to develop complex level metrics filters and prompted reports. * Ability to understand business requirements and develop technical specs. Incumbent: MUST speak English fluently.
