Performs all standard storage administration tasks including the enhancements/upgrades of the existing storage hardware/software solutions, provisioning of storage, performance analysis of the storage arrays, as well as performing problem diagnostics and resolution on a very diverse storage environment. Provide oncall support and disaster recovery planning/support as required. Skills: (High) * EMC VMAX, * EMC Clariion, * EMC Centera, * EMC Celerra storage arrays * EMC storage and performance tools, * symcli, * SMC, * Control Center, * CMCDE, * SRDF/A, * SPA, * Performance Manager, * Navisphere Analyzer , * Unisphere * Storage Area Networking for tape and disk * Brocade directors and switches Skills: (Med) * Understand the concepts of interpretive and compiled languages. * Ability to write simple programs in at least one scripting language. * Familiarity with some of the following: Veritas Netbackup, EMC PowerPath, EMC Navisphere, EMC Unisphere, EMC SRDF/BCV, DNS, NFS, Oracle DBMS/RAC, Oracle ASM, CMCDE, EMC Control Center. * Unix, Windows: Familiarity with AIX, Solaris, Red Hat Linux, and Windows Server: Perform basic system administration with emphasis on TCP/IP networking and file system maintenance.
