Job Title: C++ Developer
Location: *Boston, MA *
Duration:6+ Months contract with extensions
SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Significant experience developing / owning major revisions to an
entire software product
· Requires 8-10 years of experience in software development
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Must have technical work experience in the following:
· Strong analytical and computational programming skills
· Visual C++, Win32 API
· COM / DCOM / Active X®
· UI design
· SQL Server™ 2005 / 2008 and writing SQL queries and stored
procedures
· ADO / OLEDBMust have experience with the following:
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to “think outside the
box”
· Excellent listening skills
· Enthusiasm, energy and creativeness
· Possess a positive attitude and ability to multi-task, stay
organized in a dynamic work environment
· Experience with .NET framework, C# is a plus
· Familiarity with principles of catastrophe risk underwriting and
management is a plus
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement enhancements
· Review and maintain current software
· Collaborate with managers and engineers on integration and
performance issues
· Contribute to the architecture and implementation of
next-generation analytical services
