Please let me know if you are available for the requirement. *Reply to: [email protected]* * * *Position: Lead Filenet Consultant* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 6+ Months* Job Description Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a team lead and/or manager of a Filenet P8 environment (preferred) or document management platform experience. Must have strong understanding of Unix, Weblogic, Oracle, Java technologies Responsible for managing a Filenet P8 ECM/BPM support group(s) for various system/platform support and administration activities, including conducting the performance management process and providing input for staffing and disciplinary actions. Responsible for system uptime, availability, performance tuning, capacity planning, metrics and timely resolution of environmental/application issues. Manages a team of filenet administrators onsite and offshore and also responsible for vendor management and expense planning and utilization. Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of Filenet P8 environment (preferred), programming languages, various business applications, state of the art technology, and current trends in the computer industry, usually acquired through related experience and a four year degree in Computer Science, is required to consult with business unit partners to determine effective computer utilization. Knowledge of various application designs and programming techniques, usually acquired through related experience, is required to develop conceptual system design. Analytical and problem solving skills are needed for systems guidance. Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set. Major Duties 1. Manages a support group(s). Conducts the performance management and career development processes. Provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions, and provides hands-on training to staff. 2. Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work. 3. Maintains risk management and compliance programs and activities for their assigned group. 4. Advises systems staff on the impact of systems enhancements to existing designs. 5. Reviews and negotiates vendor software package contracts. 6. Communicates with various business areas and outside vendors, consultants, and clients regarding automation needs. 7.
