Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements. • 8+ years - Skills in the area of performance troubleshooting, database query optimization, database implementation and administration are critical. • Database administration skills in following technologies is required: Oracle 10g , 11g, RAC, DataGuard, OEM, any work with Goldengate (streams) • Knowledge of operating system administration and scripting languages in one or more of the following is required: Linux, Sun/Solaris, IBM/AIX. Perl, shell scripting. Understanding of tools used in database support such as OEM and TOAD. • Ability to work in a team environment, strong communication skills (written and verbal) a must. • Ability to follow procedures to ensure compliance with security and audit requirements. • Experience in financial sector a plus Description: Positions are to support databases from a variety of business areas at client. Will perform database tasks for development and production projects.
