Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding,
testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's client/server
software applications. May require a Bachelors degree in a related area and
4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with
relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Performs a variety
of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project
leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Select and map data from extract files which are produced in various
formats from various policy administration systems.

2. Transform data from extract files to the appropriate format required for
the models used within the Prophet environment utilizing DCS which is
Prophet’s script-based data conversion tool.

3. Must be able to create and understand requirements/design documents.

4. DCS procedures must comply with the development standards that have been
established.

5. Create test cases based upon supplied business requirements and
expectations.

6. Execute thorough unit and regression testing as assigned.

7. Manage monthly data extract and clean up as defined procedures.



Qualifications and Experience Required:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related
discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience.

2. 2 years progressive experience in C#, Visual Basic, or .NET programming
is required.

3. 2 years experience with relational databases and a proficiency in the use
of Structured Query Language and/or SSIS programming is a plus.

4. Experience with Data warehousing techniques and processes are a plus.

5. Advanced analysis skills as well as proficient skills developing ETL
packages.

6. Familiarity with Database terminology and basic objects and structures
are required.

7. Knowledge of Insurance industry is preferable.

8. Must be able to understand the subtle differences in terminology commonly
used in the insurance world (Annual Premium versus Modal Premium; Account
Value, Fund Value, Cash Value, Cash Surrender Value, etc.).

9. Must possess proficient written and oral communication skills.
