*Job Title: ETL Developer* *Location: Columbus, Ohio * *Duration:6+ Months contract with extensions* Key tasks: * Design and develop ETL data flows, jobs, and processes based on requirements for the data warehouse and operational data stores * Provide hands on Development, Unit Test, and Support for ETL processes * Build and support ETL processes for both real-time and batch systems * Collaborate with Solutions Architect and Data Architect to understand business requirements and data model * Work directly with the Data Architect to produce a OLAP data model * Support full testing cycle for ETL processes, including bug fixes * Collaborate with Data Architect and DBA team to optimize ETL performance * Facilitate ETL-related data quality management * Follow and improve ETL strategy * Champion developing, implementing, and continuously updating "best practices" and standards as they relate to ETL in the environment * Provide ETL repository administration services and enforce ETL object reusability * Creation of ETL mapping documentation Additional requirements: * In-depth knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SSIS, Informatica, Data Stage, or Business Objects Data Integrator as both a designer, developer, and administrator * High proficiency in understanding relational and dimensional data models. * Proficiency in SQL including the use of SQL editors, stored procedures, database triggers and optimizing SQL statements. * Experience with Oracle 9i or higher * Strong strategic skills, the ability to lead in the adoption of ETL technologies, standards and best practices. * Ability to handle difficult situations; work as a team to resolve issues and to help *firefight* during crises situations. * Proven tactical skills, the ability to move tactical decisions towards strategic initiatives. * Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad base of business and technology associates * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal and external customers. * Demonstrated ability with Word, Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously * Travel as necessary * Experience with Business Objects Data Integrator/Services - preferred * Experience with Business Objects Data Quality (First Logic) - preferred * Experience with Meta Data Management - preferred Thanks & Regards, Abdul Nadeem | Sr. IT Recruiter CAT Technology Inc., Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey Voice: 201-257-5081* 298 or 294 | Fax: 201 727 9296 E-mail: [email protected]| [email protected] Visit us at: www.catamerica.com | www.camttechnologies.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ORACLE DWH DBA" group.
