Title : Database Architect Location : Boston, MA Duration : 4 Months Description : The Database Architect/Developer will be responsible for assessment, design and development of the current and new SQL Server database architecture and processes with the purpose of identifying inefficiencies, gaps and issues. The Database Architect/Developer will also be responsible for recommending short and long term solutions to address inefficiencies, gaps and issues. The Database Architect/Developer will collaborate with Infrastructure architects, Database and System administrators, IT application development teams, business users and sponsors, and IT operations staff to understand the business and technology evolving needs involved in the creation, implementation, and on-going support of business systems within the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. The responsibility includes keeping data aligned as the business evolves.
