Title: Silverlight Developer Location: Morrisville, NC Duration: 6 Months Description • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience • Ability to solve complex problems in a team environment • Self-motivation and the ability to work undirected • Fluency in C# as well as other modern applications programming languages • Entity Framework 4.0 preferred, however previous versions of Entity Framework will be considered • Proficiency in modern development environments (Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation Server 2010, etc.) • Silverlight 4 preferred, however previous versions of Silverlight, WPF, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> MVC will be considered • WCF RIA Services desired • The ability to understand abstract models of complex problems and translate those models into code • The ability to quickly create high-quality outputs that are subject to scrutiny by a dedicated Quality Assurance and Testing team, as well as the Senior Architect. • The ability to work well under time-pressures and in a fluid environment The responsibilities of a Software Applications Developer are as follows: • Check assignment queue at least daily to track changes in assignments or priorities • Attend daily team sessions (which are to be no more than 15 minutes in length) to discuss progress and issues • Take direction from the team leader for defect and feature tasking • Keep accurate timekeeping on a daily basis (filled in at the end of each day) *N.
