Job Role: Sr. VMWare Administrator Location: Denver, CO/ Phoenix, AZ Duration: 6+ Months Contract Description: I am looking for expert on all the following: Must-haves: -5+ years experience with VMWare ESX 3.5 and 4.0 (certs preferred) -1+ years experience with VMotion (certs preferred) -5+ years experience performing VMWare administration -Experience performing VMWare migrations (design, migrate, implement, and configure) -Strong communication skills. Including documentation. -Flexibility to travel for one or two weeks during the 6 month engagement Plusses: -HP Blade Experience -Net App/EMC storage experience Day-to-Day: This person will be the VMWare expert/architect responsible for a couple different projects. The first one primarily will consist of taking a current ESX environment of 15-20 servers and migrating them to another environment. Once migrated they will add an additional 20 or so servers and bring all environments to one cluster. The resource will be ultimately responsible for the migration and implementation of the VMWare environments.
