The successful candidate will have extensive experience using Business Objects version XI R3 to provide support for users in production, test, and development environments. 8 to 10 years of experience in business objects reports development. Strong hands-on development experience working with *Business Object XI R3. * Proficient in analyzing data and reporting requirements for the design of BO Universes and underlying database structures. Strong command in Business Objects architecture, BO SDK Development experience and related 3-party software technologies. Excellent hands-on proficiency with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL ( DB2 a plus), AIX, shell scripting, XML. 6 + years’ experience is using reporting data warehouse or data mart. Must have excellent business analysis skills, able to interact with business staff to derive and interpret business needs (Critical) Must have strong communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation. Must have excellent understanding of ETL processes and data conversion methods. Proficient in understanding and reviewing ETL workflows, Data Warehousing architecture & design, exposure to data modeling is a Plus. High level flexibility is required to be able to quickly adapt to management directions, to address any ongoing or changing business needs. (Critical) Life Insurance experience is a must. RAC is very operating system dependent and client needs to interview candidates with RAC on AIX. Need of an Oracle RAC Database Consultant. This is an immediate need. *Requirements* 2 month+ engagement to include hands-on implementation AND required knowledge transfer to current staff Required Skills: 5 years deep Oracle RAC experience in AIX environment with at least 2 significant RAC implementations in Oracle 11g 10 years Oracle DBMS experience -- current in Oracle 11g Recent experience in RMAN, ASM, Oracle Cluster, and Grid Infrastructure – significant implementation experience required Strong UNIX scripting Good teamplayer *Preferred Skills: *Oracle DBA Certification (optional, but “nice to have”) Strong communication (writing and presentation) skills as this engagement requires extensive knowledge transfer to a team of Oracle DBAs with no RAC exposure Experience with setting and publishing standards for new users of complex DBMS features Production support (24x7) experience; this position is not on-call but the individual must understand the requirements of a 24x7 environment to properly configure a robust, reliable RAC environment and associated support procedures *Requriement 3(SMd0309-852)* *Title: MicroStrategy Developer* * * *Location: San Jose, CA* *Duration: 10+ Months* *Local candidates strongly preferred* *Job Requirements:* * Strong Data Modeling and Dimensional Modeling experience. * Experience developing MicroStrategy reports, dashboards and end-user applications. * Experience developing MicroStrategy Mobile applications. * Experience developing MicroStrategy applications that leverage Multiple Data Sources. * Utilize various MicroStrategy reporting tools to deliver insights to targeted audiences (e.g., Narrowcast, Report Services, Distribution Services). * Be involved in full lifecycle development and implementation of clients’ BI reporting and analytical services. * Develop ad hoc interfaces enabling end-users to generate their own reports. * Perform extensive QA on data and MicroStrategy reports. * Resolve user-identified functional and technical issues relating to the full MicroStrategy suite. * Experience developing OBIEE reports, dashboards and ad-hoc reports in Answers (nice to have) * Experience developing OBIEE’s RPD metadata across all three layers (physical, logical and presentation) (nice to have) * Experience creating iBots using OBIEE’s Delivers feature (nice to have) *Requriement 4(SMd0309-855)* * * *Location: San Jose, CA* *Duration: 10+ Months* *Responsibilities* • Identify and solve data integrity problems. • Work effectively with ERP tool users to resolve data integrity issues. • Continually recommend process improvements for data gathering. • Track initiatives occurring through product development. • Track, monitor, and analyze initiative costs, variances, and ensure accurate reporting. • Provide trending and forecasts. • Develop and maintain engineering productivity standards. • Interface with other vertical parts of the organization to ensure proper supply/demand capacity management and coordination. • Help prepare presentation for director/executive level audience. *Job Requirements:* • Minimum of 3 years work experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. • Ability to prioritize multiple projects. • Good communications and interpersonal skills. • Advanced Excel skills. • Good understanding of the product development life cycle. • Experience with Business Objects and Clarity is preferable.
