Job Title:* **Sybase DBA* Location:* **Louisville**, KY* Duration:* 6 months* *Job Description: * * RESPONSIBILITIES* · Provide cross line of business DBA support and administration · Part of a team providing 24x7 level 1 and 2 support for pharmacy databases and systems. · Monitor and triage alert streams, sometimes repairing issues and sometimes diagnosing and escalating. Provide database maintenance and execute releases to include stored procs * REQUIRED SKILLS* · Sybase 12.5 and above · Basic understanding of replication · Good knowledge of database creation, log segments, disk initialization, disk mirroring, taking backups of databases and DB Dumps.
