Please reply to <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] New opening in Chevy Chase, MD AVAIL: ASAP LENGTH: 6 months DESCRIPTION: interact with senior management and the product development team on a daily basis and will be a primary QA point of contact. In addition to functional testing and general product QA, this person may be involved with test automation and internal user support. Specific tasks include: functional testing, regression testing, managing product issues, and guiding test automation efforts. We are looking for somebody with a lot of initiative, hard working, and enjoys working in a dynamic fast-paced environment ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: . Create, maintain, write and execute test plans and test cases . Develop and maintain automated test scripts within a test framework . Help automate test cases . Generate test execution reports to management and the product team . Participating in bug review processes including identifying, documenting and following through on bugs through the defect lifecycle . Participating in design and specification reviews . Actively participate in daily Scrums and project planning meetings . Maintain and deploying builds to the test environment . Support other QA team members (as needed) QUALIFICATIONS: . Have prior experience in functional testing and general website - product QA. . Outstanding communications skills both written and verbal. We'd like to see two writing samples. . Have extensive experience using social networking, photo, and video sharing services online. . Enjoy challenge, learning, and working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented culture with smart people. . Be comfortable wearing multiple hats, be flexible, and be able to work effectively in an informal setting. . Have an exceptional level of integrity, raw intelligence, creativity, energy, and passion. . Comfortable with the Internet, technology, and learning new technologies. . Have a high standard of conscientiousness and responsiveness. . Fastidiously pay attention to detail. . Have a BS/BA degree or commensurate experience . Have knowledge of software development. .
