Job Role: Cognos Developer wd Healthcare exp. Location: Richardson, TX Duration: 6+ Months Contract Description: Candidate will be Responsible for the development work needed to migrate Cognos 8.3 Reports to 10.x.This will include standard reports, Dashboards and SDK generate reports. Effort will include working with team members in the migration of the reports including documentation. Candidate will develop reports based on current standards and best practice. Candidate will be responsible documenting reports as part of the effort. Successful candidate will be taking ownership while working with team lead of Cognos reports. Skills Required - 7-8 years of related work experience Proficient in Cognos 10.x and 8.3, Dashboard Reporting, Standard Reporting, Report Optimization, Cognos SDK JAVA development, Migration experience, Strong Transact SQL (MS SQL Server) Proficient in working with Cognos Transformer Cubes and SQL server cube Proven experience in playing a lead role on Dashboards/Reporting & BI projects Excellent problem solving, analytical ability and debugging skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Cognos Framework Manager. IBM RAD Version 6, & IBM WAS Version 6 would be nice to have. Must have some Healthcare Experience.
