*Position: Java Developer Lead* *Location: Hardford, CT* *Duration: 12 Months* * * * NOTE: We have multiple position for Java Developer / Lead / Architect / Application Developer. * Job responsibilities:Lead and/or participate in major and minor developmental efforts adhering to the overall application system design.Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Effectively analyze business requirements and conduct system design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance. Work closely with project and development teams to ensure goals of the project are being met.Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced programmer/analysts.Ability to oversee diverse assignments and juggle multiple priorities. Able to work in a fast paced work environment. Skill or Experience requirements:Strong technical skills in the following: Java/JSP/Servlet, WebSphere Application Development using WSAD/RAD, Struts, SQL/UDB, HTML, Java Script, XMLFamiliarity with any of the following technologies is a plus: Spring, AJAX, Web Services, MQ Series, ClearCase, Rational Suite.Ability to multi-task, seamlessly shift priorities, work under time constraints and resolve detailed issues without losing sight of the big picture.Effectively documents or verbally communicates technical issues and ideas in a clear, concise, and accurate manner that is understood by the target audience. Demonstrates solid analytical skillsEffectively leverages existing technologies while anticipating and planning for the potential benefits of newer technologies. Easily identifies workload priorities, criticality and time demands. Achieves appropriate levels of quality.
