I have a role in San Jose looking to bring on another high-level Android Developer for at least 12 months, possibly up to 2-3 years. Please let me know if you may have anyone available. Software developer will be developing application software for digital reading devices and other consumer electronic devices. Job Responsibilities Include: - Development of application software for digital reader and other consumer electronic devices. - Work closely with Product Planner and User Experience designers to understand the feature requirements. Implement features according to the product requirement documents. - Assist Software Architect on designing product architecture. - Work closely with test engineers on bug fixes and resolve issues. - Write unit test codes, instrument your code for measurements, actively participate in code review, and perform "pre-flight" testing. Additional Requirements: - Experience in a software development (5+ years) - Programming experience with C/C++, Java - Experience with Android SDK and/or NDK - Familiarity with standard software development tools - Superb communication skills - Experience working within software development lifecycle - Love of solving challenging problems - Product sensibilities - enthusiast with regard to digital media, devices, and related products Plusses: - Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or a related field - Experience supporting a consumer electronics device platform - Linguistic skill in Japanese is a definite plus ** * Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
