Job Tittle : Data Modeller Location : NJ. Duration : 6-12 months contract. Rate : DOE. *Discription:* The Project is a new initiative requiring a model be built from scratch based on business requirements yet to be determined. The Data Modeler must be an excellent communicator and have a deep background in working on business intelligence projects. Because of the initiative starting from the ground up, this candidate must act as a subject matter expert in assisting the project as a whole, and although not directly responsible for the ETL and reporting aspects, must have the experience in ALL areas of data warehousing to assist in the overall architecture of the project. The Data Modeler will assist in defining business requirements, design the logical models through a standard Data Modeling tool, and produce the Physical models along with ddl for implementation. Expect to be very hands on with the development and deployment of the data warehouse. Should also be familiar with Business intelligence Tools such as Cognos and Microstrategy as the project may move into cube generation Needs to have worked in an Oracle environment. Any background with payroll or human resources data a plus but not required.
