This work is for designing and implementing of Next Generation Service Delivery Platform based on Java Work will be done in AGILE mode. We are looking for 4-5 people to work as Sr. Leads that would be working with offshore team in Ukraine to build system from scratch. Here is a high level skill set requirements • Java development skills (Java, Log4j, Eclipse, JBoss, JMS) • Knowledge of memory management tools such as Jprobe, SVMON, etc. • Configuration Management tools such as Subversion etc. • Build tools such as Ant, continuous Integration build systems such as CruiseControl etc. • Automation testing tools such JUnit, TESTNG, fitnesse • Hibernate which is an open source Java persistence framework. It supports object relational mapping and query databases using HQL and SQL. • JNDI • Web services such as SOAP, Axis2, apache • XML processing tools such as XSLT, JDOM, SAXON, Xerces etc. (this skill may be more specific for Java platform team than services) • Agile approach to software development using Scrum as the management tool Skill Sets / Qualifications The candidate must have a very strong technical background with emphasis on real time systems, and ability to work on highly complex software system. The candidate must have strong programming skills in server side Java for distributed applications using Java J2SE 1.6, servlet programming and experience working in a multi-threaded environment. The candidate must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented design principals and be familiar with Eclipse. Knowledge of C ++ is desirable along with knowledge of computer networking with emphasis on mobile networks and SS7 and SIP. In addition knowledge of Agile development methodology is desirable.
