Location: Wellesley, MA Duration: 12+ months Pay rate: up to $70/hr CTC Enterprise Architect Job Responsibilities: The ideal resource is an experienced, self-motivated architect who can provide leadership in the assessment, design, implementation and integration of successful IT solutions in collaboration with our clients' senior technical leadership and major business stakeholders. The candidate must have 10-15 years experience in Information Technology engagements and consulting on enterprise architecture, business process transformation, and enterprise application integration. Candidate must be able to work in an Agile Scrum environment, interacting with the CTO and other senior IT leadership. Must be able to identify, recommend solutions and resolve difficult client problems. Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a collaborative environment, coordinating communication of business and technical concepts among the various stakeholders, building consensus, and driving the design process from abstract strategic concepts to a concrete framework for implementation in a complex multi-system installation. Experience with service-oriented architectures is a requirement. Experience in the insurance industry and a high-level understanding of key business processes including claims processing, underwriting and rating, enrollment, client management and member services is desired. Required Skills: . 10-15 plus years of experience in application and technical architecture design in large scalable enterprise systems. . At least 5 years experience developing as-is and to-be business information flows and business process models analyzing business requirements and working with subject matter experts from functional areas. . Good communication skills, especially the ability to describe and present complex technical concepts to non-technical team members. . Experienced with design and implementation under an Agile/Scrum Methodology. . Experience with process and enterprise modeling notations such as BPMN, UML, IDEF, etc. . Deep understanding of software design and integration concepts including common architecture models, challenges with the setup and management of multiprocessing, multi-threaded environments, as well as the delineation of responsibility between data design, management and messaging solutions. Desired Skills: . Application development experience in JAVA, J2EE, Spring Batch, Hibernate, JAVA Script & Tuning in the JAVA environment. . Employing Tibco Active Matrix as an enterprise framework . XML, XSL, XSD development. . Experienced with JMS, SOAP, WSDL and concepts of SOA development. . Analysis and design of business applications. . Full life-cycle Development, Defect Analysis, Quality Assurance testing, Implementation and post implementation support of application software is a must. . Experience with auto-build and testing environments using solutions like Hudson, Mercury Quality Center and . Knowledgeable with Configuration Management concepts and tools. . Knowledgeable in data modeling, relational database design (specifically Oracle) and object-relational mapping systems. Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
