Title: QA Engineer
Duration: 9 months

POSITION SUMMARY
A QA Engineer III will work on various sized projects under supervision of
the QA project lead. Their main role is to execute test cases and report the
results to the lead. They will also be accountable
for identifying defects with the product. They will be required to provide
the lead with a daily status of the work completed. They may be required to
develop manual and automated test cases during the
development phase. This position also requires the person to work directly
with the QA project lead and other team members. They will work with the QA
Team to ensure that proper documentation and
training material is updated and coincides with current processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Performing analysis work and creating QA documentation
· Running queries to generate test data
· Coding test scripts with automated tool & generating test cases
· Executing test cases and defect tracking
· Providing support during UAT
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
A associates degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 1-3 years software testing experience on web-based applications
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Experience following testing processes and best practices
Ability to make sound decisions based on proper research
Understanding of web-based application environments and experience with
e-commerce applications
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to perform analysis based on requirements, wireframes and design
documents
Conduct proactive testing for any changes made to program design, database,
functionality, etc
Create reproducible test results, test scenarios, and test for common
problems and errors
1 year experience using Test Director
Familiarity with SDLC, CMM and IEEE standards
Knowledge of Star Team and Toad is highly desired but not a requirement
