** * Job Description: The Remedy Developer would be responsible for development on BMC Remedy ARS 6.3 and 7.0 platforms. This person is also responsible for system and program specifications, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining the Remedy CSS and Service Desk applications. • Participates in requirements analysis. • Plays a significant role in the definition of the high level design and detail design of software. Develops system diagrams and defines parameters of interface functionality. • Analyzes problems and determines solutions to problems. • Develops robust and fault tolerant applications. Develops system and program specifications. Plans and implements software projects. • Designs and Implements applications within the ARS platform. • Devises solutions to system problems. • Maintains, revises and updates current code, including troubleshooting, fixing bugs and improving system functionality. • Working with others, assists in devising problem statements and proposed solutions to system-related problems and issues. • Participates in the creation of the integration test plans. • Ensures project technical documentation items are identified and completed. • Articulates and communicates specifics of software designed with project teams. Position Requirements: • 2-3+ years demonstrated experience in the software engineering field, plus a College degree in related field. • Strong experience using BMC Remedy ARS development platform. • Strong experience using relational database systems. • Strong experience utilizing the concepts of software engineering best practices and principles. • Experience using structured programming and object-oriented techniques. • Strong understanding of software development life cycle. • Demonstrated experience being involved in various phases of software development life cycle.
