Rate : $40/ -
(Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer
· BS in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science,
Engineering,Mathematics,
etc) or sufficient work experience to demonstrate proficiency at this level
· 3+ years software engineering/design experience or equivalent experience
in software testing methodology's and tools
· Sound knowledge of and ability to apply standard engineering principles,
theories, concepts and techniques in software testing and quality assurance
· Ability to communicate effectively to developers and other QA test
engineers.
· Detailed familiarity with software development methodology's
· Proficient in Microsoft Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel,
Access,Project,
Visio), Tcl (Expect) scripting language, HP QC 9.2/QTP - Load Test software
experience preferred
- can efficiently utilize all of the 5 standard QC 9.2 modules
(Releases, Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab, Defects)
· Creative and innovative software testing approaches and techniques
· Understands the methods, practices and policies that are used during a
system integration process, including hardware, software, network and
applications
· Fluency in both written and spoken English
· Self motivated
Candidate will be expected to author test requirements, plans, and reports,
define/create test cases, share test results with other groups/departments,
and perform test execution. Test environment primarily includes Unix and
Windows (various) platforms.
We expect work on-site min 8 hr days/40 hr wk for the period of 1 year
commencing on or near 1 Oct 2008.
