We have an opening for....... Position: System Analyst with Health Care Exp Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 6+Months Below is the position description, but I wanted to make a couple of points? We know this manager well; we have placed with her before, and we know what she is looking for: - Health care INSURANCE experience: Recent extensive history of projects in BCBS in any state, or other big firms like United, Aetna, Assurant, Cigna, Humana, Wellpoint, etc. - Systems Analysts, not Business Analysts: Candidates must be very technical, and have history of analyzing SYSTEMS level requirements, and understanding of SUBSYSTEMS INTEGRATION, and hands-on interface experience - Good Communication Skills: She won't hire anyone she doesn't feel will be able to communicate clearly and effectively both on the Business and Technical sides - Experience: The manager is looking for folks with at LEAST 6 years of experience as a Systems Analyst; 5 years is too little Web based SA with RUP experience. Must be motivated and able to work independently. Web sales health insurance experience is a plus. This person will not be responsible for development or design. However, must be able to work through technical designs and work out issues with the business unit. Extremely self-motivated and capable of handling mini-implementations. *Provide comprehensive consultation to technical staff and business unit clients in recommending solutions to business problems *Provide oversight and final review of design specifications *Consult with client and technical staff to resolve business/technical issues and needs. *Lead JAD sessions and provide estimates for project planning *Maintain applications, provide consultative support for, and understand interface points for the systems within a product family *Consult with clients to resolve business issues *Partner with Business Analysts and other IT staff to ensure that designs business and technical requirements *Identify and Document Detailed Technical system Requirements *Prepare Detailed Technical Design Document(s) *Assist in Testing New or Upgraded System Solutions *Manage Project Implementation Bachelor's degree related to Information Technology *Experience with data and integration projects *Development background in J2EE application development, and portal development *Demonstrated experience with the concepts, theories and processes of Project Management Methodology (PMM) or Product Development Methodology *Understanding of industry and business related processes, functions and architectures (i.e. Individual sales and enrollment, agent and consumer sales, enrollment and account service) *Demonstrated experience with MS Project *PC skills (i.e. capacity planning tool, Visio, Excel, MSEPM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) *5 or more years work experience in an application development, testing, or analytical role (specify) *2 or more years of client consulting experience *Knowledge of systems, programming languages and tools used in the IT industry * Demonstrated experience with (which) operating environments Unix *Experience designing internet web applications *Experience using Req pro, Clear Quest and Clear Case *Knowledge of change management process Please send me your Updated Resume and these details ASAP: Full Name: Contact No: E-mail ID: Availability: Visa Status/Citizenship: Current Location: Best Rate Regards, SAM Ling Technologies, Inc.
