Position: Informatica Developer Location: Windsor, CT Duration: 4 To 6 Months This resource must have extensive experience installing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the infrastructure related to an ETL, data warehouse, data mart, and BI environment. . Develop and support batch interfaces using Informatica . Independently troubleshoot and resolve application and interface errors . Proactively monitor, research and resolve data quality issues . Responsible for timely and accurate completion of batch data load schedules . Research implementation alternatives and provide design recommendations . Participate in ongoing support of interfaces, including enhancements and new releases . Assist in gathering, documenting & interpreting user requirements . Create and own design & development specification documents . Coordinate with project managers to create project development estimates & timelines . Work effectively in a team environment consisting of project managers, technical leads, developers, contractors, and business users . Effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently Skills: . 7+ years experience in complex information technology environments to include significant experience in a production support or sustaining engineering environment. . 7+ years of SQL/PL-SQL development experience with relational database management systems . 4+ years Experience with an Extract Transformation and Load (ETL) tool highly desirable . 4+ years Informatica development/support experience (v. 7.1x or higher) . Excellent problem solving and issue resolution skills . Excellent oral and written communication skills . Demonstrated ability to effectively work in team environment with varying skill set levels Education: .
