The organization Consulting is pleased to provide this IPT Detailed Design
and Migration Planning Statement of Work (SOW) for client & Company
(client).
This proposal relates to preparing client for their implementation of IP
Telephony (IPT) to replace existing Centrex usage.
Client wishes to deploy a split of IP phones and analog stations at their
Moline-area sites under discussion.
As the foundation for the actual IPT Migration, client contracted the
organization consulting to complete an IPT readiness assessment and station
reviews earlier in 2008.
The next step of preparation is to develop a detailed design for the IPT
infrastructure, validate certain assumptions (dial plan, BOMs, voicemail
integration), and develop a high-level migration plan for the deployment.
Since completing these projects, the scope of client's migration has been
reduced to approximately 4300 phones across the various locations in the
Moline area.
Job Description:

The Organization Consulting Solutions will complete the design for the
client's locations area in Moline. Two major focus areas are involved.
A. Requirements and BOM Validation

c) Numbering and Dial Plan validation
d) Supplemental Services
e) Phone connectivity requirements
f) Voice Gateway requirements
g) WAN Requirements
h) Integration Requirements
i) Implementation schedule requirements
j) Voicemail requirements
k) Security requirements
l) Processes and Procedures requirements
2) Review of Bill of Materials (BOM)
3) Conduct Client Review and obtain concurrence
B. IP Telephony Planning and Design
1) Design IP Telephony Solution Architecture
a) Detailed logical and physical layout of the IP Telephony implementation
b) Validate hardware and software requirements
c) Specific circuit requirements
d) Integration strategy with existing infrastructure
e) Hardware and software configuration templates
f) IP Addressing Plan
g) Redundancy and fault tolerance
h) PSTN Connectivity
2) Design IP Telephony Call Processing Model
3) Supplementary Services such as Call Park, forwarding, etc.
4) Conferencing
5) Finalize IP Quality of Service design
6) Design IP Telephony Phone/Switch Connectivity
7) Design IP Telephony Voice Gateway Implementation
8) Design IP Telephony WAN Implementation
9) Pre-migration Voicemail Planning
a) Review current email and voicemail platforms
b) Define detailed work flow plan
