Job Title : Sr.Java Developer Location : Albany, NY Duration : 18 Months* ** *LOCAL TO NY OR NJ!!!!PREFERED WITH NYS EXP!!!MAX $50 TO $55!!!* *Job Description 1.Minimum 8 years experience developing large scale application systems in a multi-tiered environment, at least 4 of which must be in a JAVA/J2EE environment. 2.Minimum 4 years experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tiered (3+ tiers) application environment at least 1 of which was within an Object Oriented Architecture. 3.At least 1 year experience in enterprise use of Rational Application Developer/Rational Software Architecture for documenting, modeling and developing J2EE applications. * ** *THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE BUT NOT REQUIRED:* ** *Experience developing IBM Websphere Portlets using JSR 168 specifications on IBM Websphere Portal Server 5.1 or newer. Experience working with Websphere Message Broker 5.1 or newer developing message flows. Experience developing and deploying applications for WebSphere Application Server Version 5x or later version. Experience actively using JAVA Server Faces as part of an application development toolset. Experience with mentoring less technical colleagues on object oriented concepts and JAVA programming. Experience in mentoring less technical collegues on the concepts of building and releasing WebSphere Application Server Projects (WAS version 5x or later version). Experience coordinating or assisting to coordinate a WebSphere Application Server release process among various IT units. 11. Experience developing and deploying applications in multi-tiered (3+ tiers) application environment at least one of which was within a Service Oriented Architecture. Experience actively working with and developing XML messaging, Webservice or SOAP applications. Experience in the use of Subversion as a change management tool. Experience developing SQL queries, packages, procedures, and functions in Oracle. Experience with core software engineering concepts, control structures, fundamental algorithms, error and exception handling.
