Egencia's reporting team is seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst to provide
analytical and decision support to our internal clients and end customers.
The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and
reporting on transaction and customer service data.
Complete Description:
The Egencia reporting team is seeking a Business Objects report writer who
can help us in our automation of client and internal management reporting.
We will be looking for a candidate that can create reports as well as assist
in creating a scalable, long term reporting infrastructure.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
•Develop and generate clear and concise reports utilizing Business Objects.
•Ensure the consistent use of terminology and calculations across all
reports.
•Develop and generate ad hoc reports at the request of management.
•Develop and maintain an open dialog with management to ensure their data
needs are satisfied. Offer suggestions for operational improvements where
appropriate.
•Participate in the development and implementation of new reporting tools
and administer those tools going forward.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
•4-year college degree required; Business, Sciences, or related technical
discipline preferred
•Five (5)+ years of work experience in a similar reporting role, with a
prior responsibility for generating and managing business intelligence
reports
•Experience developing reports, from scratch, using Business Objects 6.5 or
XI Desktop Intelligence. Web Intelligence and Business Objects Dashboard
experience a plus.
•Experience with customer service data, such as phones or surveys, a plus
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
•The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from executive
management to individual contributor
•The ability to work unsupervised and make independent decisions
•The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with a high
attention to detail
•The ability to excel in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
