The position will serve a critical role in supporting the Partner Services
Group and its need for detailed information to help shape strategy and grow
revenue.

The position will serve a critical role in supporting the Partner Services
Group and its need for detailed information to help shape strategy and grow
revenue.
Position responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be proactive, be able to manage multiple tasks
and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end to end, prioritize
workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. This individual
must also work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines
within short time constraints. The developer will work closely with business
analysts and management staff from the hotel business to ensure that
accurate and timely data is presented in reports that drive decision making
and strategy plans.
Activities include:
• Manipulating large volumes of data from multiple resources, financial
model
development and creating new and improved techniques/solutions for data
collection, management, and presentation
• Provide extensive support to various lines of business, points of sale,
and internal stakeholders on an as-needed and routine basis
• Perform complex SQL-based queries and utilize statistics to analyze ad hoc
business issues or data quality issues
• Review development and test specifications, and communicate implementation
limitations, data definitions, and report usage guidelines to prospective
report users
• Produce ongoing data sets in an accurate, reliable, and timely manner
• Generate multi-use front-end reporting templates and displays, using SQL
Server Reporting Services and additional development tools, to ensure
self-service capability of report users.
Additional requirements:
• 4-year college degree required; Business, Sciences, or related technical
discipline preferred
• Three (3)+ years of work experience in a similar reporting role, with a
prior responsibility for generating and managing business intelligence
reports
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Genuine intellectual curiosity for what makes the business run
• Experience with using statistical modeling for data quality checks and
resolution
• Demonstrated experience and skill in advanced programming using SQL
(preferably MS SQL) with additional experience in ASP.Net and VB.Net
programming preferred
• Strong experience using MS Excel and/or MS Access
