We have an opening for....... Position: Sr. SQL Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6 Months Job Description: . Expert knowledge with the IBM Universe database environment, including design and programming. . Expert Database Design experience with Microsoft SQL - (version 2005 preferred, version 2000 acceptable). . Experience in constructing complex stored procedures, views and triggers. . Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic required. . Must be able to work independently. . Must be a self starter. . Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Must be a team player. . Experience with Database conversion a significant plus. . Experience in developing with Microsoft C#, web apps, web services, and aspx a significant plus. Job Requirements: Programmer/Database Designer/Developer There will be a team of 4-5 people (mostly are managers and not techies so there will be no hand holding). This developer/designer will have to have experience with both Universe and MS SQL in addition to database conversion experience. Without it, it is not going to happen.
