Position : UNIX Sys Admin
Location: Atlanta
Duration: 4months
Technical Skills Needed
Required Skills:
1. Knowledge of the UNIX OS (11.23) environment, including scripting
experience.
2. Excellent research and analytical skills is a must.
3. Highly organized individual with experience tracking software changes
being made to multiple platforms.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience as a UNIX System Administrator is a strong plus
2. Knowledge of ClearCase/ClearQuest and Opsware deployment tools.
3. Some experience in project management is a plus.
Years of experience: 3 to 5 years
E. Soft Skills Needed
1. Strong communication skills (both written and spoken).
2. Leadership ( ability to define and lead process change).
F. Project Description/Daily Assignment
Detailed Description of Daily Assignment: Organize and execute the process
of introducing application software updates to QA lifecycles. Support a QA
team in establishing environmental readiness for QA projects. Investigate
and resolve any testing defects attributed to environmental issues. Create
tools (scripts, etc.) to support the QA team in investigating defects.
Detailed Description of needed deliverable: A process to be followed by the
development and QA group for migrating and tracking changes in lifecycles
below the production environment. Documentation that identifies software
versions in each lower lifecycle. Environments ready for QA testing that
meets each QA project timeline. Resolution of environmental issues
affecting QA projects.
