*Business Systems Analyst With SQL Server Developer Exp ***
*Location*: *Smithfield**, RI** ***
*Duration: 3+ months*
*Rate: 30-33$/hr*
*Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured:*
*Operations/Development role that administers and supports SQL 2000 Server
for Credit Risk databases, including replication, log shipping, performance
monitoring, database consistency, and operational support issues. Assist in
business event planning, scheduling, standards and production support for
the Credit Risk Information Systems Team.*
*Support large SQL databases, including replication, log shipping,
performance monitoring, database consistency checks, database maintenance,
and operational support issues. *
*Work with production operations to manage job process flow.*
*Work with development to promote product releases. *
*Support the Credit Risk Information Systems Team in implementing a quality
environment for our stakeholders.*
*Work closely with development teams to implement new database development.
*
*Implement and execute maintenance plans. Improve processes and procedures
to increase overall reliability and system integrity.*
*Technical Knowledge:*
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a database
administration/operations.
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or
equivalent work experience.
. Banking experience is preferred.
· In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000/2005, support/implement
replication, database recovery and consistency, and operations support.
· High level of analytical skills.
· Understanding and working knowledge of SQL database.
· Understanding and familiarity of the major Microsoft Server
Components.
· Worked in a project/production oriented environment
Sql2000 database
Enterprise manager tool experience
Read, develop DTS packages
Use access for database content and queries
Wholesale credit product knowledge a plus
*People Management:*
Provide technical support and coaching to team members
Strong command of English Language
