We have 2 new EXCLUSIVE openings for manual QA testers This project
requires the resources will be working in Sunnyvale, CA until the end of the
year 2008, and in Eagan, MN for first quarter of 2009. *The client will pay
expenses* for one or the other location, but not both. In other words, the
consultant does not have to be local to either location, but they must move
to CA or MN since the client will only pay for one location.
This is a 5 month minimum project, with high potential for extension.

*POSITION *
*Software Test/QA Analyst* - The candidate filling this position will
participate in a data center applications migration effort from an
application testing perspective for one of our premier clients in the legal
industry. The Software Test/QA Analyst is responsible for the creation of
the test cases and scripts assigned to them by the Test Project Lead and the
execution of those cases and scripts in the test environment. The
Software Test/QA Analyst will open defect tracking records on found system
discrepancies, work with engineering resources to receive fixes to the
defects they find, and retest these defects once fixed in the test
environment.

*Experience and Education***
*Essential Experience and Capability *-- This position requires:**
Ø 3+ years of *QA and test* experience
Ø Ability to *execute* manual test scripts and *report* on test execution
status.
Ø A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science (or equivalent
experience).
Ø Very competent Windows application user skills.
Ø Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ø Experience at writing software defect reports.
Ø The ability to communicate on a technical as well as a non-technical
level.
Ø The ability to understand applications from a technical and business
perspective.
Ø The candidate to be a proven team player with strong interpersonal
skills possessing a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with
varying priorities.
Ø Ability to make sound decisions based on business, technology, and QA
guidelines.
*Preferred Experience* *and Capability* – The preferred candidate will have
one or all of the following in addition to all the experience and capability
listed above:
Ø Skilled at examination and analysis of typical business workflow
scenarios
Ø Ability to analyze complex applications and develop test cases
Ø Be able to read *use cases* and business requirements and write test
cases
Ø Any previous experience working in a *Legal* Industry application and/or
business environment.
Ø Any previous experience in writing an application testing strategy for
and leading the application testing for an Applications *Data Center
Migration *project.
Ø Experience with applications in a *Linux* Environment
Ø Experience with HP/Mercury's Quality Center Tool
