PS Financials Developer Location: Torrance CA Contract: 12 months Responsibilities: -Highly motivated, self-learning Information Technology professional with over 7 years of experience, specializing as a PeopleSoft Financials technical contractor for the last 5 years in the AP module. -Experience with GL, PO, AM or Ariba is a plus. -Experience in PeopleSoft Financials version 8.9 or 8.4 is required including implementing, supporting, and maintaining PeopleSoft Financials applications. -Candidate is expected to have strong hands-on analysis, design, and development experience and knowledge of background processes and underlying tables of the PeopleSoft AP application -Candidate is expected to be functionally knowledgeable about the business processes for PeopleSoft AP. -Functional knowledge requires a solid understanding of accounting principles used and transactions performed to conduct business. -Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in the area of Segregation of Duty is a plus. -The development activities involve 60% technical and 40% functional including customizations, interfaces, conversions -Experience in custom reports using the application development tools, SQR, Crystal reports, and Application Engine.
