We have an opening for....... Position: Storage Engineer Location: Las Vegas, NV Duration: 4 To 6 Months Job Title: Professional Storage Engineer (Admin.) Certifications: NetApp NCDA or and enterprise account experience Job Requirement: Professional Storage Engineer - NetApp focus Candidate will be a field PSE resource reporting out of the NetApp Scottsdale office This candidate will be assigned to one of NetApp's Key Account customers for onsite assistance. NetApp certification and experience is a must. This candidate will support the storage administrative function and be the NetApp expert on the customer site. The PSE will have primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance and required break/fix activities for all NetApp equipment within this organization. Additionally, and with the support/assistance of the NetApp account team, this resource will lead planning activities for the growth and implementation of 'best practices' of the NetApp environment The person needs to be competent with NFS, Unix, CIFS, SNAPMirror, Multistore, etc. Experience with VMWare environment is a plus. Relevant experience should include: Filer maintenance Filer installs Filer integration into editing infrastructure Team meetings Coordination with other team mates on tasks The skills needed are: Strong NetApp filer knowledge in both SAN and NAS (trusted advisor level) UNIX Strong soft skills in a high pressure role Good communication skills regards Gaurav Ling Technologies, Inc.
