*Role:* Cognos Enterprise Planning and Business Intelligence Consultant *Location :* Washington DC *Duration :* 6 Months+ Description: We need Cognos Enterprise Planning and Business Intelligence Consultant to work onsite in Washington DC. The individual must have strong functional knowledge and technical experience implementing and supporting Cognos Enterprise Planning 8.3, in particular Budgeting and Planning applications and their integration with BI reporting. This position requires considerable hands-on Cognos EP expertise, knowledge and consulting experience Required skills: * 3 plus years of Cognos EP budgeting and planning applications experience with hands-on knowledge of Cognos EP 8.1 or 8.3 (required). * 1 plus year of Cognos BI solutions associated with budgeting and planning applications with hands-on knowledge of Cognos BI 8.2 or 8.3 (required) * Proven experience as a Functional Lead for at multiple full life-cycle Cognos EP budgeting and planning applications implementations (required). * Define / re-engineer business processes (required) * Gather business requirements, document functional specifications for models, links, customizations and custom reports (required) * Develop Cognos EP Models, under 8.1 or 8.3 (required) * Create test scripts and conduct testing (required) * Conduct conference room demos and training sessions of Cognos EP and BI solution (required) * Strong communications and interpersonal skills with business users and with business and IT project managers (required) * Experience working in International Financial Organizations (IMF, World bank, IADB, etc), or public sector, higher education organizations (desirable) -- Thanks & Regards...
