Develops data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides senior-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Serve as a high-level resource on database management issues, and participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. More than 5 years of practical DBA experience in a large production support environment (Banking/Finance preferred); production support functions such as checking for tablespace free space, checking for fragmentation, checking for nightly/weekly backup status, checking for ORA-600, ORA-7445 error, dead locks, and creating SRs with Oracle tech support and following up with them; checking statspack.
