This includes coordinating effort of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle. *Responsibilities * • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. • Select, oversee, coach, mentor, and motivate an effective team and assign team members to project tasks. • Effectively communicate project status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. • Collaborate with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts that affect project success. • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using appropriate tools. • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. • Proactively manage and control changes in project scope. • Identify risks, and devise mitigation and contingency plans. *Position Requirements* • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business or related field. • 5+ years total IT experience with at least 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including full life cycle management of software development and IT infrastructure projects, or equivalent IT management experience. • Certification in Project Management preferred, *PMP *a plus. • 1 year experience managing projects using project management software. *Microsoft Project versions 2000+* preferred. • Ability to use Work Breakdown Structure, or other techniques to accurately manage and report progress. • Familiar with programming languages, current Internet technologies, *RDBMS, operating systems, and IT infrastructure*. • Competent with productivity software programs, such as Microsoft Office. • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. • Can adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating. • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. • Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills. • Tenacious. *Work Conditions* • *Overtime may be required* to meet project deadlines. • Sitting for extended periods of time. • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects. • Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings. • Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
