Hi All, Please find the requirement below….. *Title: Sr. **Functional SAP BW/BI Functional Analyst* Location: GA Rate: Open/Hr Duration: 6 Months + Start Date: ASAP *Job Description:* The *Senior SAP BW Associate* will primarily liaison with client's executive and business teams leveraging SAP BW (BI) functional knowledge and leadership to drive improvements to their business processes and technology solutions. This role will assist client in the implementation, and support of application packaged solutions. Will be responsible to run business requirements to capture their current and future reporting and/or data needs, process workshops, design new business process models, configure, test, document and support the SAP BW (BI) and SNOP (Sales and Operational Planning). Will work as a team with the business to define the current business model and work along with them to define and design future business models that not only supports the organizational needs but supports the best business practices of the SAP BW (BI) and SNOP (Sales and Operational Planning). They will also be responsible for providing knowledge transfer to the business throughout the SAP ASAP methodology lifecycle with emphasis on module functionality, configuration, best practices, testing procedures, and all aspects of SAP BW (BI) implementation, including specifications for data conversion and mapping, needed system extensions and reports. This position provides functional recommendations to development teams by presenting strategic design, development, integration and implementation of enterprise wide Business Intelligence Solutions. Interfacing with business leaders, assumes creative leadership role to drive strategic initiatives, programs and projects. Provides domain expertise through keeping current on industry practices and benchmarking best practices. *Key Responsibilities: * The BW Functional Analyst will be primarily be responsible for: • Configuring SAP Business Warehouse in support of requirements from the business community and projects. • Working with in-house process experts to analyze and document requirements for reporting solutions. • Performing analysis of BW processes and analytic/reporting requirements to ensure requirements will be adequately met. • Strategically design applications, information and system architecture to achieve business goals and objectives utilizing a broad understanding of IT enterprise architecture concepts, techniques and models resulting in highly scalable, easily maintainable enterprise solutions. • Uses industry standard graphical modeling languages to develop business architectural designs • Provides technical and functional recommendations of the Business Intelligence and Portal infrastructure. • Perform detailed-level analysis to solve highly technical, complex problems, and provide consultation to other projects. • Stay abreast of and continuously increase knowledge of new technology and business solutions. • Work closely with business project leader and the project user team to understand business requirements, develop business solutions, and deliver project on time and within budget. • Work with business users to analyze current process, understand the business rules, and establish the key performance indicators to measure business performance. • Have in-depth understanding of multiple technologies or systems, and are involved in resolution and recommendation of key project actions and deliverables. • Applies a consistent set of business architectural guidelines in the creation of new solution architecture • Work with the company infrastructure groups to ensure timely delivery of development and production environments to the project team and user community. • Counsel, consult, mentor and transfer knowledge of key business functionalities within the IT BI Team. • Make sure that the established BI standards and templates are being followed. • Work closely with vendor and solution provider during purchase of software, application outsourcing or consulting services. Provide input into project contracts, project plans, and project resource and cost estimates. • Provide input to the user team in the development of quality plan, testing strategy / test plans *Functional / Technical Skills Required:* Demonstrated ability to perform as a leader in a global team environment of large multi-disciplined projects and teams. *•** 8+ years of progressively responsible experience designing*, implementing and supporting complex application development projects involving BI 7.0, Portals 2004s • *Strong Knowledge in SAP BW tool set including creating Infocubes, ODS, Multi Providers, Infosources, Data Sources, Update Rules and Transfer Rules*. • Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent. • Manage external consulting staff as well as deliverables and own staff • Excellent communication skills. • Experience designing SAP Web Application-based Dashboards in BW 3.5 and 7.0 • Contributes domain thought leadership both internally and externally • Maintains an awareness of and utilizes state-of-the-art best practices • Networks with peers from external companies • Authors business and/or technology related papers and articles. • SNOP background would be a huge plus.
