 *Having payroll experience with Peoplesoft is key for this resource. *

This full time business analyst position is for support of Employee
Compensation processing.  The component supports *both payroll and tax
filing applications.*  Prior *State** Farm Systems payroll and payroll tax
experience* is required.  An *accounting background* is required.
Prior *supervisory
work in an operational payroll area would be very beneficial.*

Work responsibilities would include support of employee compensation
processes including day-to-day service support, as well as, project
development activities of payroll and payroll tax processes.

The payroll application is considered critical and confidentiality is of
utmost importance. The analyst must be highly accountable and have the
appropriate maturity to handle sensitive information.

*Specific Job Responsibilities:** *

Support payroll applications using *PeopleSoft North American
Payroll*customized

Coordinate various payroll efforts including *PeopleSoft tax updates and
project activities*.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Understand *payroll business processes and procedures*
Provide day-to-day problem resolution and production support
Build and maintain positive relationships with *FSS/ECS, FSS-Tax Filing, and
other interfacing business partners including*  State Farm associates

Act as a liaison between the business partner and other Systems Areas
Build and maintain a positive relationship with external regulatory, vendor,
and banking agencies as needed
Analyze system problems reported and work with necessary areas and vendors
to resolve
Implement solutions to business partner needs which include information
gathering, analyzing business needs, alternative solution options,
requirement development, testing

Coordinate the development, review and updates to procedures, training and
other communications
Represent business area and Systems needs on projects and research efforts,
as needed
