Analyst
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* University degree.
* Experience with multiple SAP releases including 3.1H, 4.0 and ECC
6.0 is desired.
* Knowledge of SAP CO (CO-OM-CCA, CO-OM-CEL, CO-OM-OPA, CO-PA)
module functionality including:
o Cost Centers / Groups
o Primary / Secondary Cost Elements / Groups
o Internal & Plant Maintenance Orders / Groups / Settlement
o Assessments / Cycles / Segments
o Distributions / Cycles / Segments
o Complex Upstream allocation flows and implications from Production
Sharing Agreements and Joint Interest Accounting
o Activity Types
o Statistical Key Figures
o CCA Budgeting / Planning
o Profit Centers / Groups
o PCA Validations / Substitutions (0KEM)
o PCA User Exits / Custom ABAP application (e.g., monthly ASTM
correction (ZAST) app using 1KEL)
o Configuration of characteristics
o Configuration of derivation rules
o Configuration of valuation items, including SD interface
o Assessments
o Summarization levels
o Variable groups
o Report line structures, including building formulas
o ReportWriter - create/maintain/convert reports
o ABAP Query - create/maintain/convert reports
o Month-end close processing (e.g., FICO Reconciliation)
o Batch Job interface processing
o OSS notes analysis / implementation
o Knowledge of archiving related processes is a plus
* Course work and/or experience with basic accounting principles.
* Speak, read and write English fluently.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent problem solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal and team working skills. Ability to work in
a multicultural environment.
* Ability to work remotely from other team members, internal service
providers and customers.
* Ability to work with less experienced analysts in order to develop
SAP problem solving, support and technical skills.
* Strong analytical capability to comprehend and support complex
processes based on standard SAP configuration as well as customizations
utilizing work flow.
* Ability to learn and support a number of Specialized management
reporting scenarios used by financial stewards throughout the company. Must
grasp general concepts of Business Warehouse backend reporting and impact of
ERP changes.
* Ability to learn and apply ExxonMobil control standards to these
processes.
COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT
BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
SAP R/3, version 3.1H, 4.6C, 4.0B, ECC 6.0.
* LOTUS Notes, WINDOWS NT, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint are a
must.
* Remedy, Visio, Solution Manager, NetMeeting; Instant Message;
Sametime; Global Share are desired.
Provide support to Financial Process.
Global Financial Accounting is the primary client but others include
Upstream and Downstream business users.
