Position: Transaction Process Facility - TPF Senior Developers Location: Denver Duration: 1+ year * ** *Application Support *Perform preventative maintenance and maintenance upgrades. - Jointly manage enhancement/new development projects with product developers to ensure quality software products are delivered on time, on budget and with quality to customers. - Perform root cause analysis, track variances and execute corrective action plans to ensure system wellness and optimization. - Analyze incidents such as outages and functional problems and involve appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues. - Provide timely and effective response and follow-through in the resolution of production, system availability and response time incidents. - Follow established incident management and problem management processes. - Interact with vendors, airline partners, and support groups to resolve incidents and problems. - Ensure resolution of critical production incidents as they arise. - Participate in meetings and crisis calls to quickly restore normal service to the customer. - Provide high level estimates in response to customer requests. - Communicate project status to project managers. - Create technical solutions for complex business requirements. - Perform end-to-end technical assessment and feasibility analysis. *Technical Leadership *** - Serve as an internal consultant to provide technical direction at all stages of the application development lifecycle. - Responsible for quality of system and project components developed by assigned Programmer Analysts. - May provide technical leadership to projects and collaborate with clients, System Analysts and management on the definition of requirements and the design of applications. - Leads a team of staff and/or contractors through design, build, test and enhancement of application solutions. - Instruct, direct and check the work of other programming personnel. - Provide technical expertise in one or more highly specialized areas of applications development or operations research. - Monitor project schedules and cost.(needs more detail and definition) - Conduct open and interactive meetings on a regular basis. - Participate in strategic, technical and business process planning. - Identify infrastructure improvements that will enhance the stability, reliability, and efficiency of the system. *Quality Assurance *** - Responsible for quality assurance review. - Ensure compatibility with existing applications. - Develop robust test plans to ensure delivery of quality products. - Ensure that test plan is comprehensive to test all conditions to mitigate the risk of introducing system maintenance issues. - Promote process and quality initiatives. *Employee Engagement (10%)*** - Identify coaching opportunities to increase performance efficiencies of team members. - Reinforce and communicate common goals and direction for team. - Facilitate communication between project team members. - Provide input on employees overall job performance in accordance with organizational goals and objectives. - Provide feedback to manager ensuring employees have tools/information/resources necessary to be successful. - Identify opportunities to recognize and reward employee and team contributions. - Reinforce and communicate clearly defined SMART departmental goals, and objectives. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Financials" group.
