Please send profiles to [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> HP UNIX Technical Specialist Location: Memphis, TN Duration: 3 - 6 month contract Position requires 5 years of HP Unix experience to include: * Thorough understanding HP UX operating system, including an in depth knowledge of performance, configuration and monitoring. * EMC hardware experience is required. HP is the priority * Needs to understand SANs with the ability to mount disks. * Bachelor or Technical degree or equivalent experience Responsibilities include: * Support HP UX environment * Install and assist wht the installation of software required for the end-use application. * Research and recommend SW products to assist with the management and availability of these systems * Work with other IT Groups to interface these systems as required to the existing infrastructure and network * Have acquired several HP UX systems that will need to be managed locally and remotely. * The client has acquired several HP UX systems that will need to be managed locally and remotely. This position has responsibility to some degree for support of all of these servers, including 24X7 on-call support on a rotated basis. This position has no budget responsibilities or personnel reporting responsibilities.
