Full software lifecycle development experience in large,complex systems.

Experience with large-scale distributed systems using message queues, SOA
and other related technologies.

Experience with building/consuming SOA / Web Services.

Well versed with OOD and Java EE.

Experience in OOAD using established methodologies, notations (such as
UML.), techniques (such as Design Patterns -Core J2EE Design Patterns,) and
tools (such as Rational Rose) Strong technical experience with a broad range
of technologies in Java SE/EE (JSP/JSF/Servlet, EJB, JMS, Transaction, JDBC,
Web Services, Security and etc.), and other open source frameworks such as
Struts, Spring, Hibernate and JUnit, using tools such as Eclipse and
Rational Application Developer Ability to assess the impact of architecture
changes on the business,application relationships and information flow.

Ability to design systems for high availability, security,manageability and
reliability.

Expereince with WebLogic Server, preferably in a load balanced environment.

Expereince with build tools like Ant and/or Maven, configuration management
practices (code branch, merge, and etc.) Experience in Test Driven
Development (TDD) such as using test frameworks/approaches (JUnit, TestNG
and/or Mock Objects, and etc.) Experience in practicing development
methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile; understanding pros and cons of
each Experience with Data Modeling and databases like SQL Server/Oracle and
various operating systems.

Experience with Java Profiling tools

Experience with Web 2.0 technologies such as Blogs, Wikis, Forums.

Understanding of design considerations for high volume transaction systems
Understanding of design considerations for large database implementations.



Responsibilities

- Lead development teams to design and support service-oriented application
architecture for information systems.

- Produce technical specifications and design from analysis for core and
common business and technical application architecture components and
systems.

- Define and implement strategies for integration of 3rd party systems into
the business and technical architectures.

- Work with functional teams to define and implement migration strategies
from legacy systems to new architecture and technologies.

- Defining solution architecture

- Shaping and leading large-scale application design and architecture
activities

- Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom
line

- Shaping and leading large scale application build, test, and deploy
activities

- Assessing and managing risk and issues throughout all aspects of the
application implementation

- Planning and managing Application Assessment and Requirements activities

- Assisting clients in defining key capabilities /requirements that will
enable their strategy

- Defining application entrance and exit criteria

- Planning and managing application design and architecture activities

- Being recognized as an expert on one or more application vendors/products

- Creating project deliverable templates and standards (including coding
standards, etc)

- Creating complex conceptual designs (including application interfaces and
interactions)

- Planning and managing program-wide application build, test, and deploy
activities

- Identifying and monitoring interdependencies between various application
implementation activities
