* * * * *QA Analyst with Trading* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Duration: 12 months+* Top 3-5 must skills (Buzz words) : Must have *backend testing experience, Financial Industry exp,* Need someone from Chicago Mercantile Exchange or another Trading company. *Description: * Works with project teams throughout the SDLC to assist and support the analysis, design, development, and effective and efficient implementation of developed systems/applications. Authors test design documentation and conducts functional, regression, performance and systems testing. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* • B.S. in Computer Science/Finance/related degree or equivalent experience • 5 or more years of IT experience • Competent to work at the highest Quality Assurance level of all phases of system testing (must have backend testing experience) • Experienced in the *QA lifecycle* • Proficiency in SQL (2 years experience doing queries, data manipulation, reading data models, navigating in relational databases) • Fundamental knowledge of Unix (i.e. logon, change directories, understand VI Editor) • Experience with Mercury Test Director, QTP, Quality Center, Load Runner • *XML (preferably FIXML)* experience • Experience in the *financial markets industry* • Ability to communicate clearly/efficiently with users, management and staff. • Ability to prioritize and coordinate across multiple departments *Technical Skills: * • XML concepts & structure, SQL a good understanding of complex joins and unions, UNIX, experience in multi-tiered architecture, QTP and LoadRunner • Business: Industry Experience (Derivatives, Risk, Collateral, Trading and Options/Futures experience a plus) • QA Knowledge (Advanced Level): Testing Methodologies, Creating Test Strategies and Test Plans, Create Testing Metrics, Requirements Based Testing • Leadership Skills: Project Planning experience, has worked independently on projects • Communication Skills: has experience in dealing with all levels of Management and Users, Ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical users • Performance monitoring tools: Wily InterScope. BMC products, such as MainView/AppTune.
