*Role : PeopleSoft HRMS Consultant* *Location : Bay Area, CA* *Duration : 6-12 months* *# of Position : 7* *Rate : Open* Looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Programmer Analyst. The position is within the HR Sub-Portfolio, Development Services team. The position will be responsible for supporting PeopleSoft HCM 8.8 – HR and Benefits. This individual will possess a thorough background within the PeopleSoft HCM arena. Candidates will be asked to provide technical development under onshore leadership and will be asked to provide innovative technical designs and development for support, projects and enhancements.** * * *Required Technical Skills* 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. 2. 8+ year's hands on development experience with PeopleSoft HCM - HR or Benefits. 3. 6+ years experience with PeopleSoft Development tools (SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleTools) 4. 3+ year's hands on development experience with PeopleSoft version 8.8 or greater. 5. 2+ year's leading support teams and enhancement implementations. 6. DB2 experience. 7. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. 8. Mainframe OS/390 experience (preferred). *Required Inter-Personal Skills* 1. Strong written/verbal communications skills and people skills. 2. Strong problem solving and documentation skills. 3. Proven ability to effectively manage tasks and activities. 4. Good communication abilities, should be able to translate functional requirements into technical specifications, estimate the effort required 5. Ability to understand business requirements and work with user community to create system requirements. 6. Team player should be able to play a mentor role to other team members. *Principle Responsibilities* 1. Develop & support new & existing PeopleSoft on-line applications within the HRMS 8.8 module (HR, benefits, self service) 2. Develop & support new & existing SQR programs. 3. Create Functional and Technical designs. 4. Testing – Principle responsibility for Unit test and support of system/UAT tests. 5. Documentation - Tasks requiring creation of written documents in support of development, design and testing. 6. Documentation - SOX program change control documentation required. 7. Oncall production support required for large volume batch processing. 8. Day to day contact with business partners and functional team members. 9.
