Description .NET Developer with SQL Server and Ektron Content Management System Experience ** We have an exciting contract opportunity for 4 .NET Developers with SQL Server and Ektron Content Management System experience. The client is an energy company based in El Dorado, Arkansas who is seeking a team of developers to assist in the development and deployment of both new and ported .NET applications that rely upon both SQL Server and Ektron. Successful candidates should have at least 3 5 years of experience with .ASP, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Ektron and Javascript. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are additional core requirements of this position. The successful candidates must be able to operate in a team environment, collaborate with others and provide consulting-like skills as part of a larger team of IT developers. ** The positions are expected to last at least 1 year and may lead to permanent position offerings with the client. The positions are open immediately. ** Responsibilities Will work collaboratively with other IT professionals to evaluate and develop new .NET-based applications that leverage SQL Server and Ektron Will assist in the porting of legacy .ASP applications to .NET 2.0, including integration with Ektron and SQL Server Assist in the development of technical requirements documentation Develop, test and assist with the deployment of application functionality ** Mandatory Requirements 3 - 5 or more years of specific experience in developing ASP.NETapplications 3 - 5 or more years of specific experience leveraging specific experience with SQL Server for Business Logic 1 - 3 or more years of specific experience with Ektron CMS400.NET platform 3 5 or more years of experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript Strong knowledge of SDLC, Iterative and Agile development methodologies Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and work with teams of disparate expertise, including business, creative and technical personnel Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Experience serving in a consulting environment Commitment to excellence in meeting and exceeding customer needs ** Preferred Requirements ** Knowledge of information architecture principles Knowledge of usability and accessibility standards Technical writing/documentation experience Understanding of web-based infrastructure and deployment approaches B.S. degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related area Thanks & Regards, Mohan Rao, [EMAIL PROTECTED], 847-483-8844.
