*Interview type - Face 2 Face Only Local candidates are preferred who can go for face to face interview* *Position Title : Network administration Location : **Dulles VA** Duration : 6 - 12 months* Responsible for supporting and monitoring the operations of enterprise network infrastructure. Troubleshoot network problems and provide resolutions. Responsible for installing software and hardware and configuring servers and firewalls. Establish, implement, maintain and document security policies. Manage intrusion detection systems, internet monitoring, virus protection and other security initiatives. Tune networks to ensure availability and performance standards are met. Create and implement disaster recovery strategies. Support email applications and spam management. Must possess a solid knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, firewalls, email programs and other related applications. 6+ years of prior network administration experience is required. *Responsibilities* Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for all network and security related issues Take responsibility for the resolution of production issues Participate in on call rotation *Experience and Skills * Must have advanced knowledge of network technologies including routing, switching and load-balancing Strong experience with TCP/IP, DNS, OSPF, BGP Hands-on experience with WAN network topologies and hardware (CSU/DSU, Private Line, Frame Relay, ATM, SONET) Detailed knowledge Netscreen Firewalls and VPN appliances, Cisco PIX Firewalls, Sourcefire IDS and Nessus scanner is a must Knowledge RADIUS and TACACS useful. Knowledge of Network Management tools such as Cisco Works, MRTG, and Network Analyzers is a plus Must be able to work unsupervised, be a self starter and well organized Ability to remain calm under high-pressure atmosphere. * Certifications: CCNP or CCNA.
